Upright MRIs

Hi friends,

I got my upright MRIs of my neck and brain done. I sit in a small cubical type thing and they put a cage over my head. I usually don’t struggle with claustrophobia in MRI machines, but this pushed that. I had to redo a set of images because I moved too much. Then they put an IV in  (4 pokes to get it) and do all the scans  again with contrast. I won’t have the results for a few days and then I’ll meet with the surgeon.

We made the decision to drive up last night so we wouldn’t risk missing the appointment since we had to wait so long. We’re glad we did because the traffic up here is crazy. It’s apparently socially acceptable to drive the wrong way in lanes to pass cars and drive backwards around corners. Everything definitely moves faster up here.

Thanks for the prayers,

Shae
